Laced

A classic and common texture finish is laced. Also known as a skip trowel finish because the texture resembles a random pattern of texture. This texture is usually finished with two coats. First the base coat, secondly the textured coat. The texture can vary between light, medium, and coarse style. Making this texture highly customizable.

Cat Face

This stucco texture features a two coat finish system. The base coat is textured then followed by a top coat that is smoothed down with a steel trowel, leaving small areas of exposed texture. These small textured areas can be either a random or designed pattern and are what gives the texture the name “cat face”.

Sand/Float

A very versatile and popular choice is the sand finish. This finish is applied using a foam float that brings the grains of sand to the surface. The texture varies in grain size between fine, medium, and coarse. This finish is elegant, durable and capable of hiding imperfections.
